Volunteering your time through SCNO leverages your education and enables you to leave your mark on society by helping improve non-profit organizatoins. The time spent by SCNO members improves the efficacies of non-profits and enhances their impact on our community.

Developing Your Marketability

The practical experience that is provided through an SCNO engagement gives our members the competitive edge in the job market as they develop skills sought after in a variety of industries. Aside from possessing great passion for what they do, our members possess and further develop strong analytic skills and have real experience managing clients, working in teams and solving problems.

Developing Your Network

The SCNO member experience involves the collaboration of the brightest minds at Northwestern University as well as mentoring from professionals at consulting firms such as McKinsey&Company, Bain & Company, ZS Associates, Accenture, Booz&Co and Deloitte. Membership also permits access to our growing Alumni network to contact for academic or career advice.

Developing Your Leadership

Many SCNO positions are recognizable leadership roles, and each allows for the development of the student in a different way. Regardless of title, however, every member is relied upon to provide thoughtful ideas and commitment to further the success of our organization.
